Barnaby Gates

English painter Alice Gates and Living Editor at Vogue Vanessa Barneby teamed up in 2009 to set up wallpaper brand Barneby Gates. I love how they've infused quintessentially British prints with a modern twist and shown thought and innovation in their printing process.

Free Wedding Websites

Many of you have asked where you can find free wedding websites. A wedding website is a great way to keep your guests up to date on your plans, and communicate information that you may not want to include in your invitation.

We are excited to announce that chewing the cud has teamed up with Project Wedding to create website templates based on our signature collection.

Days with My Father

Heartwrenchingly beautiful visual story-telling by photographer Phillip Toledano in a series called "Days with My Father". I shed a few quiet tears as I followed him on his journey. My dad lives thousands of miles away from me; I think about him everyday.

NYC Highlights

Beautiful hand-lettering

Two weeks ago, we were in New York city, for pt's race. When we weren't carb-loading, we were roaming all over the city.

street painting in Soho. The passer-by's coordinated color palette was sheer coincidence.

store signage for Le Labo, an olfactory heaven.

retro street ad on Lower East.

coffee run at El Beit in Williamsburg. A-mazing coffee.

Coffee run #2

we finally got smart and bought in bulk.

Public Transit Branding

We were in New York last week so the subway was on my mind a lot. It was a nice refreshing change from driving.

There was a time when wearing a subway-branded t-shirt might have gotten you beat up on the subway, but these days, it's cool. Especially when the branding is more than putting a logo on the item.
