World Beach Project
Devised by Sue Lawty in association with the V&A museum, the World Beach Project is a global art project open to anybody, anywhere, of any age. Building on the experience many of us have of making patterns on beaches and shorelines, this project combines the simplicity of making patterns with stones with the complexities of shape, size, colour, tone, composition, similarity and difference.
"To pick up a rock, is to touch base. Touching stones gives us a primal, spiritual connection with the earth. When we handle a stone, we hold in our hands a small drawing, a tiny piece of the map; we are holding time."
~ Sue Lawty
Anyone can join in! See instructions here.

Yuruliku
note bag
bungu-tenugui
triangular scale pencil case
I love the philosophy of Yuruliku:
""yuruliku" was named by combining the words "yururi", which means "relaxing", with "yukkuri", which means "slowly", in Japanese.

We are particular about "things" and "objects" we love. In times we may hang around on the way but we would always like to be in-depths on creating "objects" we love."

Preet preet! Our dear friend from byrd + bleeker scored us a little shout-out in the September issue of 360 West Magazine, a lifestyle magazine based in Fort Worth. As they said, presentation is everything... made especially prettier when you use one of our reusable fabric wraps:)
Thanks Libby!
