My dear friend,
Stacy McCain invited me to an afternoon of sweet treats and eye candy at the studio of
Loop Event Arts.

Creative Director of
Loop Arts Events, Mary Lois created these lovelies to enhance the rustic and whimsy look of the afternoon. (I want that couch!) She has a blog
here.

Cake maker extraordinaire Krista Markell of
Sugarcoat It Studio created this cake inspired by the invitation designed by Etienne Lehrer of
Stolen Plate Press. It's so lovely when an idea comes to life through various forms and materials. The vellum leaves that Etienne had sewn onto her invitations were translated onto Krista's cake in the form of edible rice paper. Yum!

I finally had the chance to meet renowned calligrapher,
Barbara Callow in person.
Thank you ladies for inviting me to this sweet event.
Such an amazing pool of talent... what a way to begin the week!
